The acquisition of the main information and knowledge essential to understanding the sociological perspective on the normative dimensions of social relations and the specificity of legal norms

Lectures starting from a concept map and some readings progressively made available and discussed

Have passed the exams of the sociological and legal teachings of the first and second year of the course.

Tradition and the problems of the discipline  
The differentiation of legal norms from social norms
The differentiation of sociological knowledge from legal doctrine
The concept of legal culture 
The theory of action and the normative dimension of the social system
The process of positivization of law and the linguistic dependence of legal phenomena: legal culture

Learning Assessment

Learning Assessment Procedures

The test will take place with a written test (two hours) and an interview on the written paper.

The written paper is divided into two parts: in the first one you will be asked to introduce, summarize and comment on one of the essays in the program; in the second you will be asked to comment on two of the most relevant slides of the cognitive map.

The verification will take into account the active participation in the lessons.
