Knowledge and understanding:
The course aims to enable students to become familiar with basic economic concepts useful for understanding contemporary societies.
Applying knowledge and understanding:
The course aims to provide the student with the ability to apply the knowledge assimilated to different operational fields. For example, to more consciously and cautiously assess the facts of the present and relate events to the economic policies and choices of different contexts.
Making judgements:
The assimilation of the knowledge proposed by the course will enable the student to develop his or her critical capacity to express opinions and views, with full autonomy of judgement, on the economic facts of the present day.
Communication skills:
The study of the discipline will give the student the necessary preparation to be able to easily debate economic issues. To better achieve this objective, classroom communication and debate will be encouraged. Teaching will aim to enable students to acquire an adequate technical language and to develop the ability to interact and transfer gradually acquired knowledge to others.
Learning skills:
The course aims to develop the student's ability to understand fundamental economic concepts, which will help him or her to address, with greater awareness, both issues of general interest and aspects more specifically related to his or her work context.
