  The course aims to illustrate the framework of social policies in Italy, the evolution of the welfare system and the main social planning models.

  The course includes theoretical lessons, workshops and exercises.

  mod. 1 - Social policy: basic concepts, models and developments
  mod. 2 - The main features of the Italian welfare system: institutions, actors, targets
  mod. 3 - Local welfare and social services
  mod. 4 - Models and processes of social planning
  mod. 5 - SIUSS, local social planning and governance
  mod. 6 - Planning and management of measures to combat poverty

• Theories, methods and techniques of evaluation

  This module introduces the evaluation logic basics, the main evaluation theories with particular reference to Theory Based Evaluation. The module also provide theoretical and practical knowledge on processes, tools and roles of monitoring in the planning and evaluation processes.
