Learning Objectives

  Outline an educational path that enables the student to get the changes, as regards both the epistemological conditions and their transfer in the operative field.

  Build clear and solid basis on epistemological level and on peculiar aspects of aid process, with particular orientation to the acquisition of specific aspects of professional methodology, from the size of intervention on the person to the size of operation in the territory.

  Provide heuristic models for the treatment of individual and social unrest.

Detailed Course Content

• LA PROSPETTIVA EPISTEMOLOGICA DEL SERVIZIO SOCIALE

  Theoretical basis and operative models. The helping relationship depending on models: problem-solving; psycho-social; psycho-social; existential; socio-behavioral; unified, integrated. The model focused on the task and its applications.

• IL LAVORO SOCIALE NELLA DIMENSIONE INDIVIDUALE, DI GRUPPO, DI COMUNITA' E DI RETE

  The dimensions of social intervention. Teamwork in social service: group and group dynamics, teamwork and work team experiences. Community reading profiles and community intervention models. The mediation in the conflict management. The intervention planning in the task management.

• LA METODOLOGIA E GLI STRUMENTI DELL'INTERVENTO PROFESSIONALE

  The characteristics of the method: unity, processuality, planning. The methodological phases of the helping process. The contact phase in the helping process: front-office and social secretariat. Professional relationship and dynamics of the communication process. Techniques and tools of the helping process: interview, home visit, meeting, documentation. The network intervention in the process of helping the person.
