Expected Learning Outcomes

The course aims to provide students with knowledge of the main principles of private law, with a particular focus on the law of persons and family relations.
- Knowledge and understanding: Students will acquire the ability to understand the principles underlying the processes governing private relationships, both in the financial and personal spheres.
- Applied knowledge and understanding: The knowledge acquired will enable them to understand the mechanisms for interpreting legal provisions and the argumentative methods used to apply the rules to specific cases.
- Independent judgment: The skills acquired will be applied both conceptually and operationally, with independent assessment skills in different application contexts, enabling them to conduct an interpretative analysis of regulatory cases tailored to the specificity of their interests.
- Communication skills: A good command of the technical and legal language related to the topics covered during the course will enable the acquisition of clear and effective communication skills, capable of representing the interpretative and argumentative approaches underlying the disciplines of legal relations.
- Learning skills: Students will develop learning skills that will enable them to analyze the complexity of legal phenomenology.

Required Prerequisites

For the purpose of assigning a grade out of thirtieths for the oral exam covering the entire course program, the following evaluation criteria will be taken into account: knowledge and understanding of legal institutions; the ability to apply them to concrete cases; and the adequacy of legal language.
