Knowledge and understanding
The course aims to provide the student with adequate knowledge and critical skills of interpretation and understanding aimed at the fundamental notions of general theory of the state and positive constitutional law, with particular attention to the contributions of constitutional jurisprudence and to institutions for guaranteeing rights and freedoms. fundamental, also taking into account the constitutional principles "common" to the States of the European Union.
Ability to apply knowledge and understanding
The knowledge of the institutes is aimed above all at applying the concepts learned, stimulating the students' ability to dominate problems and identify possible solutions. The training objectives will be pursued through lectures, supplemented by in-depth seminars, during which the interest of students in the discussion and argumentation on cases and issues related to the current institutional will be stimulated, with the concrete application of the theoretical and of the knowledge learned.
Autonomy of judgment
The course aims to encourage the student to acquire greater awareness of the complexity of the legal phenomenon at the top of the legal system, with attention also paid to the dynamics of relations between the various local authorities, as well as the state contribution to multilevel governance and to the refluence of the latter on the fundamental scores of Constitutional Law.
Communication skills
The course aims to stimulate and ascertain the student's acquisition of clear communication methods, with particular regard to the ability to express themselves with an appropriate technical language, as well as to argue the rationale underlying the conclusions reached.
Learning ability
The course prepares a series of tools (for example: personalized interviews with teachers and tutors) intended to develop in the student the learning skills necessary for the identification and resolution of legal problems also in an interdisciplinary key, through the development of logical skills related to legal reasoning.
