THE PHILOSOPHY OF HUMAN RIGHTS: THE CONTEMPORARY DEBATE

Il corso vuole consentire agli studenti di padroneggiare i diversi approcci alla questione di cosa fonda da un punto di vista filosofico i diritti umani. Il corso si propone altresì di formare gli studenti in relazione ad alcuni temi specifici particolarmente cruciali per la politica contemporaea quali la responsbilità di proteggere, la legittimità culturale dei diritti umani in contenti non occidentali, i diritti umani e i conflitti armati.
