Educational Goals
Graduates from this master’s degree are expected to possess:
- advanced methodological skills and knowledge of historical sciences;
- research experience for retrieval, analysis and critical use of sources;
- knowledge of human cultures and civilizations, with particular reference to Mediterranean countries;
- knowledge of economic sciences;
- in-depth understanding of contemporary history in all its different dimensions, including that of gender, within the general framework of world history, from its origins to present day;
- independent research skills around the historical and political area of science;
- the ability to interact with computer-based technologies and perform technical tasks;
- fluency in more than one European language.
