Doctoral Journey
The PhD programme follows a three-year structure and is supported by a continuous process of supervision and academic review designed to monitor research progress, assess the achievement of training objectives, and support the successful development of doctoral research. Throughout the programme, students are guided by their supervisory team and the PhD Board, which regularly reviews both research progress and participation in training activities. Progression to the following year is subject to the successful evaluation of research and training activities, based on the documentation submitted by students. The guidelines and forms available in this section provide detailed information on procedures, deadlines, and requirements at each stage of the programme.
Key Stages of the Programme

Development of the research project under the guidance of the supervisor, participation in training activities, and preparation of the documentation required for progression to the second year, including a revised version of the research proposal and the Career Development Plan.
Second Year – Research Development and Progress Review
Continuation of research and training activities, submission of annual progress documentation, and preparation of the materials required for progression to the third year, including a dissertation chapter and a proposed structure for the final thesis.
