Learning Objectives

  • Globalization and the Multinational Enterprise
    The module intends to offer an understanding of firm internationalization as well as a conceptual framework encompassing different theoretical perspectives on this phenomenon. The module intends also to stimulate students to develop critical thinking on economic issues related to the internationalization phenomenon.
  • IB STRATEGY AND THE ORGANIZATION OF THE MULTINATIONAL ENTERPRISE
    The module intends to offer an understanding of the strategic challenges internationalizing firms face. Emphasis will be placed on issues related to corporate social responsibility and specifically on corruption in relation to cross-border activities. The module also intends to stimulate students to develop problem-solving capabilities in relation to complex strategic issues in the international context.
